The below sales conditions are applicable to room rental and hotel services. They are valid for all bookings and hotel guests.
Prices published on the hotel website, as well as in its brochures and advertisements, are, unless otherwise indicated, based on a stay of seven nights, half-board, for two persons sharing
a double room.
The hotel reserves the right to modify the published prices for any other type of stay. The definitive stay price applicable is the one indicated in the booking confirmation written and sent by the hotel.
Half-board includes breakfast and an evening meal.
Half-board begins with dinner on the day of arrival, and ends after breakfast on the day of departure. Non-consumption of one or several meals does not entitle the client to a refund of any kind.
Tariffs indicated by the hotel do not include tourist tax. This tax is to be paid as a supplement upon departure.
For information, tourist tax is charged at 2.47 € per adult over 18 and per night. Tourist tax rates may change according to eventual legal dispositions that may be undertaken.
The hotel will automatically apply any modification made to rates, and will not be able to make any refund based on any such change.
The Hotel 3 Vallées offers several different room types, according to availability at the time of reservation. The type of room is confirmed only upon the sending of a booking confirmation by the hotel, and depends on availability.
Single room : room for one person with one double bed or 2 single beds
Cocoon double room : room for 2 people with one double bed
Superior double room : spacious room for 2 people with a bath
Cocoon Twin bedded room : room for 2 people with 2 twin beds
Cocoon Triple room : room for 3 people with one double bed and one single bed or with 3 single beds
Cocoon Quadruple room : room for 4 people with one double bed and 2 single beds
Family room : room for 4-5 people with one double bed, one single bed and a separate space with 2 bunk beds
Suite privilege 208 : suite for a maximum occupancy of 4 persons : one bedroom with a double bed and a sofa, a second bedroom with a single bed and a loft bed, private sauna.
Suite privilège 302 : suite for a maximum occupancy of 6 persons, a sitting room with a sofa bed, one bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with 2 singles beds, one bathroom with balneo bath, terrasse.
For a preference of bed arrangements in the room, all requests must be made at the time of booking. Without particular precision, rooms will be attributed according to availability.
All of the hotel’s rooms are equipped with a telephone, cable television, bathroom with bath or shower, toilet and hairdryer, along with a safe (key available on request at the front desk).
Baby cot : baby beds cans be installed in certain rooms. Requests for this must be made at the time of booking in order for the hotel to ensure that a suitable room is offered. The hotel is unable to guarantee that a suitable room will be available if the request is made at a later stage.
A rate proposal sent by the hotel does not constitute an agreement and is subject to availability.
Reservations will be considered definite and final upon receipt of a deposit paid by the client, equivalent to 50% of the total stay price. This deposit is non-refundable and may not be exchanged or attributed to a later or alternative reservation.
Upon receipt of the deposit payment, a reservation confirmation will be sent to the client by the hotel. Room numbers will not be confirmed at this stage, and will be decided upon at a later date at the discretion of the hotel.
The total reservation balance due, as well as all other services provided by the hotel (extras), are payable on the day of departure at the latest. A credit card imprint will be required as a guarantee for each reservation.
Should the client omit to pay the balance upon departure, the hotel reserves the right to charge the credit card provided as a guarantee with the unpaid amount - proof of payment will be sent to the email address provided by the client at the time of reservation.
The hotel accepts payment by credit card (Visa or Mastercard), cash or cheque. Foreign currencies and “chèques vacances” are not accepted.
“ALL INCLUSIVE” PROMOTIONAL WEEKS
“All inclusive package” offers are applicable to stays of seven nights, from Saturday - Saturday on a half-board basis.
Early departures or unused ski passes do not constitute reasons for financial claim, or any form of reduction.
Dinner is served at the hotel restaurant from 7.00pm - 9.00pm. For arrivals after 9.00pm, a cold meal tray will be served in the room, on the condition that the hotel is informed before 7.00pm on the day of arrival concerned. For any arrivals after 11.00pm, we request that guests contact the hotel beforehand to obtain the access code.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or post. In order for a cancellation to be considered valid, this must be confirmed in writing by the hotel, also via email or post. Reservation cancellations made by clients are subject to loss of the 40% deposit paid. In the case of a “no show”, 80% of the total stay price will be charged.
Early departure and non-use of services by the client, whatever the reason may be, will not be considered as valid ground for refund or reductions. The full balance of the stay, incidental charges included, will be billed in its entirety.
Any customer forced to interrupt their stay and make an early departure, can request a refund for the nights
invoiced and not used with their insurance, subject to the provision of a certificate. On no account this refund will
be due of the hotel.
The hotel can offer, at certain times and under certain conditions, the following additional services:
- Reservation of parking spaces in the hotel garage : 80 € per vehicle per week, subject to availability. Should there be no availability with the hotel, a parking space will be reserved in one of the resort’s public car parks
(located approximately 200m from the hotel).
- Taxi reservation service on request (from airport or train station).
- Household pets (with the exception of birds, snakes, rodents and any other rare species) and guide dogs are accepted in the hotel rooms for a supplement of 18 euros per day and per animal (this supplement does not
include any food or service for the pet). Animals are not allowed to wander in the hotel without their owner and must be kept on a lead at all times. According to hygiene regulations, no animal (with the exception of
guide dogs) will be allowed into the bar or restaurant of the establishment. In case of any incident engendered by an animal, the civil liability of the customer considered as its owner will automatically be
Rooms are available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival. They must be vacated for 10.00am at the latest on the day of departure. Should any client wish to keep their room after 10.00am on the day of departure, a request must be made at the hotel reception at least 12 hours in advance. A late check-out will be granted only if hotel availability permits.
Departures between 10.00am - 12.00pm will be invoiced at 29€, between 12.00pm - 2.00pm : 45€ and between 2.00pm - 4.00pm : 59€
Room and safe keys must be returned to the hotel reception in good condition on the day of departure. Any lost or damaged keys will be charged at 50€.
Reparation or replacement of damaged furnishings will be charged in full to the client.
An open and unsupervised luggage storage area is available on departure and arrival days. Any items of luggage left in the area remain under the owner’s responsibility.
The hotel will not be held liable in case of theft, loss or damage to any items left by the clients in the public areas of the hotel. Animals, inflammatory objects and dangerous items will not be accepted in the luggage storage area.
The hotel retains the right to refuse any item of luggage in its storage area also if it is deemed necessary to protect the hotel security. Storage of luggage belonging to any person not staying at the Hotel 3 Vallées will not be accepted.
NON SMOKING POLICY
Due to French law, the hotel is non smoking throughout. This restriction applies to the hotel rooms also – we thank you for respecting this rule. A fixed sum of 30€ must be paid for any smoking in the hotel rooms.
This fee will cover the necessary carpet and fabric cleaning required to eliminate the tobacco smell for the arriving guests.
We also kindly ask our clientele to avoid throwing their cigarette stubs out of the windows and over the balcony.
Adults responsible for children must ensure that their infants to not enter any rooms reserved for the use hotel staff only. Any inconvenience caused by a child will engage the referent adult’s responsibility.
The responsible adult will be required to pay for any order passed by children in their custody.
The hotel subscribes to and maintains a valid insurance policy for civil liability, which guarantees corporal and material damage to guests within the hotel for the total duration of their stay.
It is recommended that each client take out any other insurance necessary for their personal cover. Ski or “snow” insurance may be purchased upon reservation of ski passes or directly at the ski lift ticket offices.
Any reservation made may be rightfully cancelled by the hotel, without payment of compensation or interest to the client, in the case of the following circumstances; an event constituting force majeure, should it be impossible for the hotel to operate in accordance with normal hotel standards due to reasons beyond the management’s responsibility (notably in the case of late opening or non-opening of the resort due to natural catastrophe, road closure…etc), or following a termination of client payment. Should the hotel require use of this termination clause, any deposits paid will be refunded to clients without interest.
REFUND AND COMPLAINTS POLICY
In confirming a booking, clients accept the hotel’s general conditions of sale as well as its internal regulations.Should any breach of condition or damage be noticed after a client’s departure, financial compensation will be
charged to the client in question’s credit card.Any claim related to a service provided by the hotel must be made in writing and sent by recorded delivery (with signature upon receipt). Any dispute relating to the interpretation or fulfilment of the reservation contract confirmed which is unable to be solved amicably will be presented to the Court of Albertville.
