Val Thorens and the 3 Vallées

A skier’s paradise plus various non-ski activities

From late November to early May, the 3 Vallées ski area is every skier’s paradise. It consists of a practically perfect even quantity of slopes for beginners (50 % being greens and blues) and slopes for more advanced skiers (50 % being reds and blacks). It also has Easy Rider zones (marked in pink on the map of the slopes) which are wide and gentle slopes, perfect for sledging.

The 3 Vallées also offers great opportunities with its freestyle skiing and its snowpark. Whether it’s to perfect your style or simply to experience new sensations, the 3 Vallées has much to offer surfers and riders with its eight areas and snowpark reserved for snow surfing and snowboarding.

The 3 Vallées isn’t just about skiing though. There is also a range of activities that you can enjoy alone, with family or with friends. Zip-wiring; snow biking; sledging; snowshoeing and hiking along the paths; dog sledding; diving under ice; ice climbing; karting; tankette rides; paragliding; hang-gliding; introductions to flying in planes or helicopters – and that’s only the tip of the iceberg!
